We have followed the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to the letter since it became law in May 2018. We think that being careful with data is important for building trust with both our workers and our customers. We want to improve our image while saving time and money by making sure that personal information is correct and safe. We are the "Data Controller," and it is our duty to make sure that all personal information is gathered and used in a safe and legal way.

Legal Reasons to Use Your Information

Why do we need a good reason to use your personal information? It has to be so we can provide our services. There are six legal reasons to handle data, and these are the ones we mostly use:

Contract: We use your information to carry out our end of the deal, like giving you quotes, setting up financing, or giving you guarantees. This has to be done in order to keep the deal.

Legal Obligation: There are times when the law says we have to process data, like when it comes to health and safety rules.

Valid Reasons: As a business, we may need to use your information to do things like make financial plans or ask customers.

Permission: We will ask for your permission to give you information about our other products or services if you want it.

We don’t work with types of sensitive info.

Collecting Information: Your Consent

We will only get your personal information if you tell us to. We think you understand how we use your information because you gave us your information after reading and agreeing to our Privacy Notice. Please let us know if you change your mind and no longer want us to use your information in a certain way.

What is the point of gathering your details?

  • We may get personal information from you when we talk to you, like your name, date of birth, contact information, payment information, and other information that is useful to us. These are some of the most important reasons we use this information:

This includes any licenses needed in the field, records of advice, and any other paperwork that is needed.

When you buy or sell assets, for example, your personal information may be shared with people who might be interested in buying the assets or given to new owners. When we sell most of our business or assets, your information will be one of the things that goes with it. This makes sure that services keep running smoothly.

We may also share your information if we have to by law or to protect our customers’, workers’, or other people’s rights and safety. For instance, we might give the right authorities the information they need if the law says so or if it’s necessary to uphold our agreements.

We always take great care with your personal information, making sure it’s only used for legal business reasons and stays safe from people who shouldn’t have access to it.

With whom do we share the information you give us?

When you apply for a loan through us, a finance lender, a finance credit broker, credit reference agencies (who may check the information with other public or private databases they have access to), or fraud prevention agencies are all third parties. One of our Principals is the Financial Conduct Authority.

We or they may get this information from your interactions with us or them when you ask for a loan or another type of consumer finance product. It may also be gathered from how the loan is managed and administered. Personal information about you may be sent to or processed by third-party service providers working for us, our agents, and law enforcement authorities for the reasons mentioned above.

These groups can only use your information for the reasons you agreed to. Even after giving your permission, you can still decide if you want to hear from us or other marketing in the future.

We share your information with Registered Traders so that we can provide our services. This lets you get quotes for their goods and services. Innvheat works with reputable sellers to make sure you get the best choices.
